The new Treasure Beach Village at Beaches Turks & Caicos is a standout and after visiting last month, it’s clear this is a major upgrade to the overall resort experience.

From the moment you arrive, the design feels more elevated and modern than the rest of the property. The suites are spacious, thoughtfully laid out, and finished with a clean, updated style that feels more in line with a higher-end Caribbean stay. It’s still very family-friendly, but with a more refined feel.

The main pool is one of the standout features of the new village. Take a dip, drift, or lounge at the lagoon-style, infinity-edge pool. There’s plenty of space to settle in, with cabanas available and easy access to drinks throughout the day. The ocean is always in view, and it’s a spot you can stay at for hours without needing to move.

Dining in this village also feels like a step up. The spaces are more polished, with a focus on a slightly more upscale experience while still keeping it easy and approachable for families.

From my visit, I was completely impressed by the picture perfect feel of the village and the rooms. The layouts are ideal for multi-generational families, with three- and four-bedroom options that give everyone space. It’s an easy setup for traveling together without feeling crowded. You can end the evening at the on-site movie theater, a fun and simple way to wind down after a full day.

Snorkeling can be done straight from the beach or on guided trips to nearby reefs, with all gear provided. Paddleboards, kayaks, Hobie Cats and Trikes are available throughout the day, with staff on hand to assist or give quick instruction if needed.

Scuba diving is a major standout here. Certified divers can dive daily, with professional dive boats, equipment, and guidance included. The reefs around Turks & Caicos are known for strong visibility, coral formations, and marine life, making it a great location whether you’re experienced or haven’t dived in a while. If you’re not certified, introductory programs and certification courses are available at an additional cost.

Gurvy tried the trikes during my trip last month, something I’ve always wanted to do and it was definitely not easy. They told us to come back in 20 minutes… I don’t think we made it past 8. Lots of laughs, a quick check off the list, and then onto the next activity.

It helps spread everyone out and keeps the experience from feeling overwhelming, even during busy times.
